Why does it cost money to attend the conference?

The LEAD YSA Conference costs $50 to attend. These costs cover lunch and refreshments on Friday and Saturday. The cost also covers the resources and materials that will be provided to you at the conference.

Can my non-member friends attend and how much does it cost?
Yes, your non-member friends may attend, but they must be within the YSA age bracket, be single and agree to follow the code of conduct for the conference. Registration costs will be the same as members cost of $50.00 (within Australia). Your non-member friends should register under your ward in the registration process and must be interviewed by your Stake President or Bishop of your ward/branch.

I have special needs/medical issues, can I attend?
We hope that all YSA who want to attend will attend. We have an area on the registration form to highlight any health or medical issues you may have. While you will need to be able to take care of your own needs, first-aid staff will be on site at all times to assist in any emergencies. The facility also features accommodation and amenities designed for people with a disability.

Is accommodation or transport provided?
No accommodation or transport arrangements have been organised for this conference. If you are travelling interstate or from regional areas, please make arrangements for your own accommodation and transport.

Can my Bishop/Branch President pay my fees?
Yes, but that is between you and him.

Can we pay by instalments?
No. We can only confirm your registration once full payment has been received. If you need to part pay, speak with your local Priesthood Leader first and then contact us before starting the registration process. Your registration will not be accepted until the full payment has been received.

How will the registration team contact me?
Contact will be via email. We may also text you. Drop us a line if you have a question. You can log on via the website and look at your progress or update your personal details if they change.

  • Cancellations, received by 5.00pm one month prior to the event, will be refunded in full. Cancellations after this time will only be refunded when another attendee is able to take your spot
